Doom 2 Official Screen Saver - Demonstration

This is a demonstration of the obscure official Doom 2 screen saver released in 1995 for Windows 3.1. It includes four modules with complete animation and sounds taken from the game. Although the screen saver supports and recommends 256 color mode, it fails to run at a proper speed in this display setting. I could not find a workaround for this issue, and unfortunately I ran into the same problem about 15 years ago as well. Seems it’s just an inherent problem with the program itself.
