Great Marlo (1952)

Tonbridge, Kent. M/S car coming to halt on muddy drive. Psychic and magician, the Great Marlo, another man and a young women get out of car. Marlo and the man lift a large box from car boot. M/S of two men carrying box past small crowd in woodland glade. They place the box in front of large hole. Good shot of Pathe Pictorial camera being set up on top of car by cameraman. Several good shots of sound man setting up equipment inside car. Marlo lifts the girl into the box. The sound engineer takes microphone on cable and hands it to girl. The box lid is shut and the box is lowered into hole. Two men bury box, shovelling earth over the top of it. M/S of Marlo pointing to random line in book, the crowd surround him. More shots box being buried. Marlo is seen speaking at microphone, he then makes a series of theatrical expressions to show he is concentrating.
