To the best of my knowledge, this is an old anonymous medieval tune. It’s been played by both folk bands and early music consorts and appears in many song books. I first heard this played by an early music consort and loved it’s hypnotic simplicity. Also known as Berendans, Danse De L’Ours, Danza Del Oso, Danza’l Osu.
The background rustling noise is caused by Dug! chewing sticks amongst the fallen leaves, and he even makes a brief appearance towards the end :)
