Trippy Melodic Bass Grooves with Delay

Funky good times on my Cortex bass with some fun melodies and grooves with single repeat delay. Using just one repeat on the delay pedal gives great opportunity for harmony when performing a solo piece like this, locked in the rhythm every note can be met with realtime harmonization, highly addictive! I’m playing a Swiss Cortex bass loaded with Nordstrand Dual Coil pickups and strung up with Ernie Ball Super Slinkys. To get this sound I used a Walrus Audio D1 delay, a Darkglass Hyper Luminal, Alpha Omega and a Rodenberg 707b Booster, I dialed in some lows on the Glockenklang preamp on the bass and have the pickup balance slightly towards the bridge, no post processing or plugins used. This Cortex bass has a walnut top, mahogany body, maple fingerboard and chocolate maple neck, cheers to luthier Paul Lairat and Pierre Camilleri for their craftsmanship, absolutely love it!
