Witches Forest (US) — The Beauty of Silence— 2022 full length

The debut of this solo project of Moonwisp, seemingly a new entity in the black metal market. It unfolds here a quite harmonious kind of black metal, with some tracks oscillating towards the atmospheric plane and also rather unpolished traits. One curious particularity is having a rather prominent bass in this already well tuned recipe, well synchronised with the percussion and the guitar lines. Of course the vocals are also another strong point, and despite its harsh characteristics it is able to properly hit the musical notes. A good start.
