How long does it take to ride them? What’s the longest? What’s the shortest? Why in the world would anyone want to time ALL of them?! Back in 2007, over the span of several months, I (Jarod) timed all the escalators of the St. Petersburg Metro and I’ve timed all the stations opened after that as well. This video reveals the results! Over the years, I periodically re-time some of the stations and, sure enough, they are still the same, give or take a second. I have also timed the transfer station escalators, but hope to make that into a separate video, along with several other St. Petersburg Metro video ideas. It seems like everyone I’ve spoken with about the St. Petersburg Metro has been interested in this topic and this video fulfills a long-time desire to share this information with all those who will also appreciate it. Marianne and I are trying to grow our channel, so we would appreciate it if you subscribe, share, comment, and/or like. We look forward to continuing to share our experiences in Russia with you!
