BBC Proms 2014 - Beethoven & Mozart

Prom 23: Mozart - Requiem , , Royal Albert Hall Donald Runnicles and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra are joined by the National Youth Choir of Scotland for a performance of Mozart’s ever-popular Requiem – the composer’s powerful and prescient anticipation of his own death. The concert also features Beethoven’s elegant Fourth Symphony and the London premiere of John McLeod’s The Sun Dances, inspired by a Scottish folk legend.
