RAINFOREST CHALLENGE HISTORY 1997-2010

The Rainforest Challenge or RFC was established in Nov 1997 by its creator and founder, Luis . It’s an annual unique extreme 4x4 adventure event, held in the jungle in Malaysia during the monsoon season. Throughout the years, it has built up a reputation as the world’s most well known and internationally represented 4x4 off-road event. Adventurers from all over the world have participated and continue to participate in this challenge. It’s an adventure that all die-hard 4x4 enthusiasts around the world, dream of being part of. The RFC event format has also branched outside of Malaysia, with events in China, Sri Lanka and Italy. In the not too distant future, more RFC style events will be established in other countries.
