Discovering the Cheshire Accent

An animation which explores the Cheshire accent, using a sound recording from 1957, taken from the British Library of Sounds. The animation explores typographically the spoken tongue of a Cheshire person. It identifies the identity of Cheshire through the developed typefaces, produced from historic landmarks and industrial heritage. The two typefaces used in this animation represent Anderton Boat Lift and Jodrell Bank Observatory.
