La Guitare et l’Accordéon //DIGITAKT, OB-6, TYPHON, XD, MINITAUR, VOLCA BASS, MODEL:CYCLES

I recently got myself a Digitakt, it is my first sampler and this is the first song I wrote with it. And I have to admit, I had a lot of fun! I sampled a simple arpeggio on my Guitalele that you can hear it at the beginning and at the end of the song. Other samples for drums are stock Digitakt samples. Additional drums are played on the Model:Cycles (plus a simple synth sound accompanying the guitalele arpeggio). Bassline on Minitaur, pads on the Minilogue Xd and the main arpeggio is played on the OB-6. In the middle of the song the Typhon joins the party with a distorted riff that is then played together with the OB-6 arpeggio. Finally, the accordion-like sound is played on the Volca Bass (with the help of the Valhalla shimmer reverberator). What you see and hear in the video is live multitrack recording: I recorded each synth on its own track (stereo tracks for the OB-6 and the Mode:Cycles and mono tracks for the Minilogue XD, Minitaur, Volca Bass and Typhon).
