He has discovered a book that, unbeknownst to him, contains a coded message revealing the location of secret treasures, as well as sensitive government information. This makes him and Tih Minh the target of the spies who will stop at nothing to obtain the book. Athys and his servant, Placide, soon become involved with an international band of jewel thieves-cum-spies that include among its members a mysterious noble person, a hypnotist and an evil doctor who renders their victims amnesiacs. 🔘 🇫🇷 Jacques d’Athys, un aventurier français, rentre à Nice après une expédition en Indochine où il s’est fiancé à une Eurasienne : Tih Minh (Mary Harald), une jeune Laotienne. Il a découvert un livre qui, à son insu, contient un message codé révélant l’emplacement de trésors secrets, ainsi que des informations gouvernementales sensibles. Cela fait de lui et de Tih Minh la cible des espions qui ne reculent devant rien pour obtenir le livre.
