The search squad of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the Volgograd Region “Soldier’s Field“ returned from another one-day expedition. Together with employees of the military investigation department for the Volgograd garrison and representatives of the regional branch of the Search Movement of Russia, officers of the regional department of the TFR took part in excavations on the territory of the Samofalovsky rural settlement of the Gorodishchensky district. These places are saturated with glory: fierce battles unfolded for the legendary city on the Volga - Stalingrad. The Investigation Department is actively involved in archival and search work aimed at perpetuating the memory of Soviet soldiers who died during the Great Patriotic War.
