This was a fun test. Gopro Hero 10 vs Sony FDR X3000. I have had the Sony camera for many years and I love this camera. And I must say that it continues to surprise, yes GoPro Hero 10 is a better camera. But I think there is no point in upgrading. The Sony camera is good enough for 90% of us. Excellent image quality and very good stabilization. And in fact in a few moments it’s better than GoPro Hero 10. The image quality is more normal, the colors match surprisingly well with what your eye sees. And the built-in microphone is much better than the GoPro. Yes you want to get more out of your GoPro camera, you have better options. Better resolutions and framerates. So if it is important then you should upgrade. But do not sell the Sony camera. It is simply some of the best that has been made. Never any nonsense with that. It just works.
