McLaren 750S review – on track and road in Woking’s new headliner

The McLaren 750S is an evolution of the already blisteringly quick, superbly lightweight and gloriously pure 720S, and while not much would seem to have changed in the styling department, under the skin it’s a different matter. The 750S is a lighter, more powerful car than the machine it replaces, as well as having a more engaging, playful character and even more straight-line performance. There are loads of detail-changes that add up to an even more exciting yet usable supercar. That’s the official line, at least, but to see for ourselves, we’ve been to Portugal, to drive the 750S on track at the historical Estoril circuit and then on the surrounding roads.
