Saskia - Eeuwig Op Reis (1980’s Holland, Ambient/Minimal Synth/Electronic) - Full Cassette

Tracklist below | This is a very obscure self-released home-taping cassette from the 80’s by a Dutch woman named Saskia who was also involved in an experimental music collective in Holland named “Arts“. The title “Eeuwig Op Reis“ is hard to translate perfectly but means something like “Endlessly In Transit“ or “Perpetual Travel“, in the sense of being on an endless journey or travel. It’s a highly intimate and beautiful recording of partially improvised electronic tracks, shaped by taking inspiration from daily life. A very pure recording full of warm and dreamy lo-fi ambient and minimal synth sounds. Another true jewel of female home-taping music that stands in line with artists like Cora, Michele Mercure, Tara Cross and many many more. Aside from that also very ahead of its time...
