KUKA robots provide highest flexibility in automotive electronics production

Seven KR AGILUS provide support in the assembly and end-of-line testing of super computers. Five of the robots are working according to the Chaku-Chaku principle: in this fully automated process, the components are transported directly from the robot to the relevant tester or clipboard, without the use of additional hardware such as rotary tables or conveyor belts. At the end of the production process, two KR AGILUS robots supported by a vision system perform quality control. The system concept developed by Schnaithmann Maschinenbau GmbH without rigid peripherals convinced the end customer because of the highest possible flexibility.
