Here is part 14 of a multi-part series on Funk Drumming.
For source material, I am using the classic Funk book “The Funk Drumming Workbook“ by Chet Doboe. In this video, I play and talk about solo #14, which is on page 59 in the book.
This solo incorporates some fun 1970s disco style funk drumming.
The book is out of print, but you can find it online for download. In this series, I will be performing and analyzing all of the 15 solos that are in the back of the book, starting on page 45.
