You’ve heard it said, ’Patience is not about waiting, rather, how you wait.’ Colten and I wrote this song on a chilly morning in October of 2020. Like most of the world, we were somewhere between coping and quarantine. Like the rest of the church, we wrestled with where we found ourselves as men, as believers, as songwriters, as pastors, as children of God. In a very real sense, we found ourselves coasting. We weren’t waiting very well.
