Ingredients (2 servings)
1/2 cup kutki/foxtail millet/italian millet
4 cups of water for soaking the grain as well as cooking (8 times the quantity of millet taken. you can use between 6 to 10 times the water depending on how thick or thin you wish the porridge to be)
2 tbsp cold-pressed groundnut oil. you can use any oil
1/2 tsp jeera/cumin seeds
1/4 tsp rai/mustard seeds
1 finely chopped medium-sized onion
1 finely chopped green chilli
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
8-10 kadi patta/curry leaves
1 chopped medium-sized tomato
2.5 tbsp chopped french beans
2 tbsp chopped carrots
