I love to do wheel throwing, but trimming the bottom of CHAWAN or GUINOMI is the best because I could try to create the beautiful texture. I was born as the fifth generation potter, so I grew up surrounded potters and artisans. Naturally, I got interested in potting, specially wood firing kiln was really excited. Now I studied the traditional technique and style of local pottery, and it lets me feel the pottery is based on our traditional culture very much.
