Van Gogh’s Starry night in 3D print

ON April 5th 2016 Custom Prototypes Inc. of Toronto has won the advanced finishing technical competition at the Additive Manufacturing User Group Conference in St. Louis, Missouri. The entry consists of 3/4 scale replica of Van Gogh’s iconic painting “Starry night“. The artwork has been completely 3d printed in stereolithography process, hand painted and aged. This short video shows how the technologies of 3D scanning, CAD processing and SLA 3D printing has been utilized to arrive at the final result.
