Runway Project - Aircraft Design Competition & Simulated Air Combat

I’ve been running aircraft design competitions using Kerbal Space Program with the BD Armory mod to add weapons. Each round players build aircraft according to the rules and when the time comes they assemble to do battle. The rules are intended to push the designers out of their box and come up with aircraft that look good and perform well under simulated combat conditions.
