July 22, 2017 - Traditional annual “M-1 Challenge: Battle in the mountains” event took place in Republic of Ingushetia. In the main event of the evening M-1 Challenge bantamweight title was on the line. Pavel Vitruk had a lot of the titles in the different striking disciplines, like three-time muay thai champion, national UKADO champion, winner of Alexander Nevsky Cup and Warrior Spirit Grand Prix. Almost all of his pro fights he fought in M-1 and he was the inaugural M-1 Challenge bantamweight champion, it was the first title defense for him.
