LAUNCH: Virgin Galactic-05 - Dr. Stern and Kellie Gerardi fly on Spaceship Two

The Galactic 05 mission will be Virgin Galactic’s ninth crewed spaceflight. The dynamic crew of the Galactic 05 mission will include Dr. Alan Stern, Planetary Scientist, and Kellie Gerardi, Payload Specialist and Bioastronautics Researcher. The Virgin crew includes VSS Unity Commander Mike Masucci and Pilot Kelly Latimer, VMS Eve Commander Jameel Janjua, Pilot Andy Edgell, and Astronaut Instructor Colin Bennett. For future flights, a fourth seat will be used commercially. Takeoff is scheduled for 9 AM mountain time, with the landing planned 90 minutes later, at 10:30 AM.
