So here’s a new version I hope remains up longer and has its own vibe. - Disco Elysium puts you in the alligator shoes of a cop who awakens from the mother of all hangovers. At least he thinks he’s probably a cop because everyone keeps calling him that. A near fatal binge has completely erased his memory and so for all he knows he could be a doomsday prophet, a superstar, a beat poet, or a social agitator. If he decides to honor the badge (when he finds where he misplaced it) he’ll discover a murder mystery in a war-torn city on the edge of the world which threatens to unearth old prejudices and, worst still, bring to light his own purposefully buried past.
