Box Camera - FalconCam Project LIVE

NEWS updated 18h October The chicks (Indigo and Rubus) are now 17 and 13 days old respectively and both doing fine, eating well, changing their plumage on time. Indigo has an unerring poo aim and the cam is now very blurry. Hopefully I will be able to get to the university today (Tuesday) afternoon to clean the cam, but can’t guarantee how long it will last! The third egg is probably infertile and won’t hatch now. If it is still intact after the chicks have fledged, I will give to the Australian Museum for research. Eggs were laid 26, 28 and 31st August. Incubation started on 28th. FLEDGING (First flight) is usually in about six weeks ie about 12th November.
