‘Biggest mistake’: Rishi Sunak snubs Greek PM over Elgin Marbles

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak cancelled a scheduled meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis following a diplomatic dispute over the future of the Elgin Marbles. The two leaders were expected to hold talks on Tuesday in London before Mr Sunak cancelled just hours beforehand. Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan discussed Rishi Sunak “snubbing” the Greek Prime Minister over marbles with Presenter and Conservationist James Glancy. “I’m not massively passionate about the marbles,” Mr Glancy told Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan. “I think the biggest mistake was Rishi snubbing the Greek PM, that’s what’s made this much bigger.”
