Highlights of chief conductor Marc Albrecht his work at Dutch National Opera (2020)

Dear Marc, thank you! After nine years we say goodbye to Marc Albrecht, chief conductor of Dutch National Opera and the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra. Marc conducted no fewer than 24 different opera productions with us. With ’his’ orchestra he excelled particularly in the German romantic repertoire of Wagner and Strauss. He conducted no fewer than six operas by Wagner and four by Strauss. Highlights in his career were the world premiere of the opera ’Orest’ (2011) and the scenic world premiere of Schoenberg’s ’Gurre-Lieder’ (2014). Comment below to show your love to Marc! (с) 2020
