Jordan Thompson SUPER SPIKES 103,3 km/h | Women’s VNL 2021 Her instagram: Jordan Mackenzie Thompson (born May 5, 1997) is an American professional women’s volleyball player and current member of the United States women’s national volleyball team. Her position is opposite hitter and she played for University of Cincinnati from 2015-2019. She is competing at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Early life Thompson was born in Edina, Minnesota, to parents Tyrone Doleman and Mary Thompson. Her father also had an athletic career, as he played basketball at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, with the Harlem Globetrotters and eight years professionally overseas. Her uncle was Pro Football Hall of Famer Chris Doleman. Thompson initially played basketball in middle school, but became frustrated with it and decided to try volleyball.
