Joe Frost was known for his sweet song on the quinto, the high-pitched solo drum in Afro-Cuban Rumba music. Although this wasn’t one of the hottest “Joe Jams“, renown throughout the Chicago and Phoenix areas for smokin’ hot conga sessions, it’s a nice stripped-down Rumba Guaguanco that really showcases Joe’s sweet feel for the quinto.
