VIDEO: Murder suspect tries to grab officer’s gun

CINCINNATI (WKRC) - The man accused of killing a teen at a Westwood apartment complex tried to take an officer’s gun at the police station, and it was recorded on surveillance camera. WARNING: There is profanity in the video. Joseph Reno Armstrong was shot and killed at the Western Glen Apartments on Montana Avenue on June 16. Police questioned Robinson in Armstrong’s murder. As an officer was exchanging handcuffs on him, Robinson reached for the officer’s gun. The two struggled as additional officers rushed into the room. Robinson is heard repeatedly shouting “kill me“. One of the officers used a Taser to subdue Robinson. A judge ordered Robinson held on $1,565,000 bond on charges of murder, aggravated robbery, assault charges. Robinson also faces new drug and gun charges. Police say he had heroin in his sock and a gun on him at the time of his arrest. Robinson is a convicted felon and can’t possess a gun.
