Growing Avocado Tree from Seed Time Lapse (214 Days)

Watch how an avocado fruit tree was growing from a seed/pit to young plant in this time-lapse. An avocado seed was extracted from a store-bought fresh fruit and wrapped within a moist paper tower for 30 days to germinate. It was then buried 2/3 underneath soil. After 15 days, a seedling shot out from the pit and developed its first batch of leaves. Avocado leaves were dark red when young and changed to green as they were going though light-synthesis. For some reasons, the leaves kept dry out and dropped before a new batch coming out. The plant was steadily growing from the 4th month with healthy and big leaves.
