Blood Sects was an early retro electro project that predated the entire current existing scene by a few years. Its beginnings were created somewhere around 1997, reaching fully-recorded fruition from 2001-2005. The project quit with 30 unpublished cues and 0 demos and 0 albums published. The material was less dance-oriented than the current synthwave genre and focused more on classic-horror film inspired analog compositions.
