OZONE BABY / LED ZEPPELIN DRUM COVER

Here’s another track off Coda , originally recorded for In Through The Out Door at Polar Studios in Stockholm , Sweden. There are isolated outtakes from the sessions that sound incredible and features some bits of other takes with Bonzo playing some mammoth, different fills. I believe that Bonzo overdubbed a 16th note hihat beat during the interlude, which I replicated.. I don’t think he two handed the beat because I can hear the hihat continuously throughout that section, which would make it impossible to play the snare and all the ghosting that you hear. It would be in line with the same type of hihat overdub I believe he did on South Bound Saurez. Same session. I tried to add reverb to replicate the sound of the original recording. My feeling is Bonzo used the steel kit for this song along with most songs on ITTOD. Hope you all dig it.
