Having collaborated with Jody Wisternoff and James Grant once before on previous EP title track ‘Free’, the trio team up again on ‘HRSN’. The track is a blend of warm piano, lush pads and a smooth breakbeat, tied together with vocals from Ayah Marar, a multi-platinum singer/songwriter. Also on the EP, ‘Azure’ and ‘Ranger’ showcase Because of Art’s affinity for catchy, inviting deep house. Having played sets at iconic London venue The Steel Yard late last year supporting Simon Doty and more recently alongside Tommy Farrow at his concept show in Brixton, Because of Art takes to the sunny shores of Albania for Anjunadeep Explorations in June. The London-based producer has received regular support from SiriusXM Chill and BBC Radio 1’s Danny Howard and Sarah Story, and within the last year has collaborated with Sasha, as well as remixing Sophie Ellis Bextor and Robbie Williams. ‘Azure EP’ is out now via Anjunadeep.
