Full titles read: “HEIGH HO ! ’Come to the Fair !’ - Just for a brief moment - let’s all be young again - at the famous Mitcham Fair.“ Mitcham Fair, Greater London. Lauder’s Roamin’ in the Gloamin’ at the start played by the theater organ. Several shots of old fashioned country fair in full swing. Their is a hive of activity with crowds turning out to go on the various rides such as the swingboats, roundabouts and the carousel. L/S of man of people crowding around stage where a man introduces Doctor Walford Bodie “the bloodless surgeon !“ Various more shots of the children on the various rides and stalls. Very good M/S’s of young lady spinning around on a type of swing roundabout and on a the slide. High angle shots of man attempting to sell a very large pair of knickers to the crowd. L/S’s of boxing competition underway inside marquee. One boxer lands his opponent with a good right hook and knocks him to the ground. He eventually gets back up and fights back.
