10th World Wushu Championships - The World Collides in Toronto, Canada, October 24-29, 2009!

The WWC occurs every two years and brings together the top martial artists from the 121 member nations of the International Wushu Federation. There are two components of Wushu: Taolu and Sanshou. Taolu combines graceful movements and acrobatics that are performed in artistic routines. This art form has been made famous by world renowned superstars Jackie Chan and Jet Li. Sanshou engages two fighters on a three-foot platform where the fighters ability to punch, kick, and throw his/her opponent will declare victory.
