Interception of a Ukrainian drone by a SU30SM aircraft. It happened. We have fighter air defense again. The navigator-operator of the Su-30SM/1 systems intercepts, presumably, a Ukrainian UJ-22, over the Vladimir region using the R-73RMD-2 / R-74M super-maneuverable short- and medium-range air-to-air missile system, equipped with an interceptor thrust vector deflection system and a dual-band (1-3 and 3-5 µm) infrared seeker of the MK-80 Mayak type, which was once developed by the Kyiv PO Arsenal. The angular sector of target acquisition by bearing for this seeker is 180 degrees, the angles of the coordinator pumping are /- 75 degrees. It is obvious that the target was initially detected by the N011M Bars-R radar against the background of the earth’s surface, then it was triangulated and tracked by the engine’s thermal signature by the OLS-UEM optical-electronic sighting system, coupled with the helmet-mounted target designation system, after which the target designation was issued to...
