Stare Poem (Leisure) by William Henry Davies

A simple poem entitled ’Leisure’ by William Henry Davies, narrated by John Callister. Two sheep on the County Down countryside of Drew Hill in Northern Ireland are used as a backdrop to this poem which laments the busyness of life. The opening line is, “What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare.“
