Shave Sir? (1937)

Full title reads: “Shave Sir?“ Circus act involving elephants shaving man. Events take place in German speaking country in Europe. Not specified which - could be Germany, Austria or Switzerland. C/U of elephant wearing decorative head-dress waving gigantic shaving brush at camera. M/S of glamorous woman showing two men to chairs in front of elephant. She wraps towels around their necks. The ringmaster introduces the elephant. The elephant uses its trunk to dip brush in bucket of foam. It them wipes the foam over two men’s faces, knocking one of them over. The elephant then pretends to sharpen a large fake razor blade (again using its trunk). The elephant then scrapes the foam off the men’s faces using the large blade. One of them repeatedly tries to get up and leave but is coaxed back by the ringmaster and the woman. C/U of elephant filling its trunk with water from a bucket.
