Azam Ali - “ALLAH MAZARE“- Live at the GETTY VILLA MUSEUM in Los Angeles

In May of 2022 Azam Ali & Loga Ramin Torkian were invited to perform at the prestigious Getty Villa Museum in Los Angeles as part of their “Persia After Hours“ series which complimented their historic exhibition “Persia: Ancient Iran and the Classical World“ a collaboration between the J. Paul Getty Museum, Farhang Foundation & UCLA’s Herb Alpert School of Music. “Persia After Hours“ was a special performance series at the Getty Villa in Los Angeles that highlighted the best of contemporary Iranian artists working to highlight Iran’s rich history & culture in a modern context. This performances was the first ever music performance held at the Getty Villa’s iconic outdoor theater, so taking inspiration from the exhibition, Azam & Loga curated a very special, intimate performance for the Getty Villa which featured a collective of extraordinary musicians as well as immersive visuals projected on the façade of the Villa Museum.
