River City Session Tutorial | Recording and Mixing Tank and the Bangas with Kyle Poehling

Kyle Poehling, UI/UX Lead, recorded the River City Session featuring Tank and the Banagas. Kyle shares his approach on how he tracked, recorded, and mixed the session! Recorded on a StudioLive 32 and Studio One Professional. PreSonus PD-70 Microphones were used to capture vocals; the DM-7 drum mic kit was used on both the drums and the saxophone. The HP60 headphone amp and HD-9 headphones were used for monitoring. Tank and the Bangas performed their original song “Ants,“ recorded in New Orleans, Louisiana in the courtyard of Kevin Aucoin’s French Quarter studio.
