Assembling a “Joy“ (twirling robot) Automaton

I haven’t been able to keep up with posting lately. I had a customer order a “Joy“ twirling automaton, but I was sold out, so I offered to make one this week and ship it out. Since I have not made much progress on my “N“ project for the robot enlightenment series, I thought that I’d at least do a really quick video of the process of assembling this automaton. I had most of the parts (minus the base) already cut and rough sanded, so I didn’t video the process of making parts for the robot or the mechanism itself. Let me know if this is interesting to you. I am thinking about putting together a video of the whole process of making an automaton from concept to completion, but that will be a much longer video. I think it might be fun to do a series of how to videos on this as well, but I don’t quite feel like I am ready yet.
