Russia: Iskander-M complexes conduct group missile launch during “Zapad-2021“ drills

Mandatory Credit: Zvezda TV Channel Crews of several Iskander-M operational-tactical missile complexes successfully conducted a group launch during the ’Zapad-2021’ exercises in the Nizhny Novgorod Region. Footage shows Iskander-M complex launching the missile at a distance of 50 kilometres from the Mulino training ground. According to the Russian Defence Ministry, the strike was carried out by quasi-ballistic and cruise missiles. The impact area of one Iskander-M missile is 25,000 square metres. The range of the strike is up to 500 kilometres. The main stage, which takes place at the Mulino training ground in Russia and the Obuz-Lesnovski training ground in Belarus, is aimed at training interaction between Russian and foreign military units.
