Tornado in Ireland! A tornado struck the village of Leitrim in Connacht this afternoon, causing extensive damage to property and the village itself. This comes after Storm Fergus made landfall this afternoon and a thunderstorm passed close to the area. The tornado passed through the village at approximately 12:44 p.m. A number of buildings, cars and trees were damaged.
