Welcome back to Bad D&D Movies, a series in which I take a look at films of questionable quality that made use of the Dungeons & Dragons license. Next up on our list is 2005’s made-for-TV, Dungeons & Dragons 2: Wrath of the Dragon God. This is actually a direct sequel to the 2000 disaster I covered last time, set in the same universe and seeing the return of Bruce Payne as Damodar. It was made on a much lower budget, and although it’s fair to say that it is superior to its predecessor in many respects, because it takes itself and its story far more seriously, so there’s fewer outright “funny-bad” moments. There’s some cheese. But it’s more stale this time. Disclaimer: GameOils is a parody, and not a real product available for purchase. That’s the joke. Internet Historian - ----LINKS---- MERCH -
