Coroner names domestic violence in woman’s suicide verdict for first time

A landmark inquest into the death of Jessica Laverack has concluded that the “underlying cause of her illness [was] domestic abuse”. Now, the government is being told to act on the link between domestic abuse by bereaved relatives and campaigners.
