To Have and Have Not - 1946

This LUX radio theatre presentation of the Ernest Hemingway novel “To Have and Have Not“ aired on the CBS radio network on October 14th 1946. The film version starred Humphrey Bogart, Walter Brennan and Lauren Bacall in her movie debut. In this radio adaption it was her first radio appearance as well. In the first few minutes there is some surface noise, which was present on theoriginal transcription.
