Army Motorcycle Display Aka R.A. Motor Bike Display (1965)

Butlin’s Holiday Camp, Bognor Regis, West Sussex. Holidaymakers at Butlin’s watch an army motorcycle display. The Royal Artillery motorcycle team are seen driving through the camp then staging a display which includes stunts, tricks and synchronised riding. Various shots of people waving at the camera and audience watching the display. Narrator observes that year after year this display has been the highlight of the Royal Tournament - this year they have left it out and taken it instead on a nation-wide tour. Some motorcyclists jump through a hoop of paper, others ride on the shoulders of colleagues. Nice shot of the men standing in a line then dropping to the ground in a ripple effect.
