Napalm Death: Unchallenged hate

Tribute to the pioneers of grindcore, Napalm Death. Music is taken from their blastbreaking second album ’From enslavement to obliteration’. Video was edited from this truly amazing bootleg gem from late 1980s which you can check out in its’ original form here : I bought Napalm Death’s “FETO“ as LP after I had acquired “scum“ through tape trading. I think it was late 1989 or early 1990 when I bought “FETO“, but in any case it was certainly before “harmony corruption“ was released (which I bought instantly when it came out, also as LP). Scum was The game changer for me personally, it opened some doors permanently and shook my musical views of extreme metal, for sure and it was everlasting source of inspiration - considering all that praise, it’s quite something to think that “FETO“ had pretty much equal impression to me when I got it and heard it. The only difference really is the fact that I knew what to expect and wasn’t caught by such a surprise as with “scum“ - when it was all new to my ears. Well, what “FETO“ lacks in element of surprise, it gains from notably better production which adds even more impact to the maniacal grindcore on the album. Inhuman speeds, really. Yet there is fine balance in all of that ... like this classic tune here showcases. Slow, slow and slow ... then into human tornado. Heavy and sickeningly fast and extreme. I have thought for a long time about making exactly this ancient bootleg video into tribute this way - now I finally got into making it happen. And talk about this song’s message, the lyrics ... I remember how I thought they were fitting when I was listening to the song as a teenager, reading them lyrics ... but now in the 2020’s ... it feels like those lyrics fit these turbulent modern times perfectly, in so many ways. Enjoy!
